“Hey there hottie, where have you been my whole life?”

The hoodie looked over and flushed, refusing to stare at the bold, seductive lines that traced all over the shirt’s front. ”I don’t know what you’re talking about,” it stammered stubbornly. ”And isn’t there a rule against hitting on the new costumes or..?”

“But when you’re so irresistible, babe, how can I resist? What i’d do to get my sleeves in that fleece. Imagine how I’d just sink into it.”

The hoodie could feel it’s dye deepening, like some shameless 70% polyester after a glass of water had been spilled on it. ”I’m not one of your cheap one rack pick me ups. Don’t think I didn’t see how you were with that graphic t-shirt earlier.”

The flannel’s seams drooped. ”That was a mistake and I’m sorry you saw that. Really. It’s not my fault that costuming is always pairing me with butt ugly t-shirts who wouldn’t know tasteful if it hit them in the face. Believe me, you’re definitely different.”

“I bet you say that to every article with a buttonhole on it. You just want to get your pearly whites all up in there.”

The flannel sighed, nervously shaking out it’s wrinkles. ”Look, I think I started off on the wrong foot there.” It glanced up bashfully. ”I- I haven’t felt this sort of connection since they took old trenchie back to the set. A shirt can only be alone for so long, you know? And I like being with you. Life is short and you are fuzzy.”

The hoodie felt something in its weave give, if only a little bit. ”Take me out to the seamstress first,” it teased. ”Then we can talk.”
